I am a CFP by profession, but my passion for assisting people to be financially independent started in high school. It was here that I formed a stokvel among my friends. This helped us to save money at a bank and we continued the stokvel right through our varsity days. As we grew and gained knowledge of investments and asset classes, we started a property stokvel. Through my organization I was given an opportunity to facilitate financial training education through community radio stations where I help people to budget, save and invest for their retirement in a language they could understand. I'm passionate about making a difference and applying my knowledge to assist people to make wise financial decisions. I have made sure that my family and friends make the right financial decisions – they budget, invest and make sure they have plans for the unexpected.
